On 24 May 2024 we observed the first Black Eagle (Aquila verreauxi) incubating during the present breeding season on an eyrie in the southwestern valley of the Erongo Mountains.

We are presently busy documenting the density of Black Eagle nests in this valley and will publish a report on this.
